This contest was all about recognizing Mary's songs from only a few seconds of music. It appeared to be a very difficult task, although most of you indicated that they really enjoyed trying. The correct answers can be found on a seperate page, as others may still want to try to solve the contest themselves.

As it wasn't the most easy contest, there were also a lot of prizes to win. Here are the winners and their prizes:
- The first prize winner is Nahtan Namretsnum. He was the only one
who recognized all 20 songs correctly. Nathan will receive the following
set of prizes:
- The Mary Black Songbook
- A signed photograph of Mary
- A "Mary Black on Tour" t-shirt
- and a promotional poster for the "Best of Mary Black 1991-2001" album.
- The second prize winner is Jodie Howell. She had 19 songs correct
and will receive the following prizes:
- The CD single Beautiful
- A "Mary Black on Tour" t-shirt
- and a promotional poster for the "Best of Mary Black 1991-2001" album.
- The third prize winner is Amandine, she also had 19 songs correct.
Amandine will receive the following prizes:
- The CD single Moments
- and a "Mary Black on Tour" t-shirt
There were also prizes for the fifth and fifteenth person with at least 16 songs correct. These winners wil receive a promotional poster for the "Best of Mary Black 1991-2001" album and a "Mary Black on Tour" t-shirt. The winners of these prizes are Margie Little and Nele Geurden.

Although the contes is closed, you can still try it for yourself as a puzzle. You can download the MP3 file from this page, which contains twenty fragments from Mary's songs (ranging from 1 to 5 seconds). It is up to you to recognize from which song each fragment is. Because the sound fragments are taken from Mary's whole repetoire, it contains both well known songs as some lesser known songs that have only appeared on one or two singles.
